Queenstown to Christchurch South Island Road Trip Special – Terms & Conditions
1. Customers must enter the designated Campaign Code: [26FREEONEWAY] at the time of booking. The Campaign Code must be applied before the booking is completed and cannot be added retrospectively.
2. This promotion applies only to one-way rentals with pickup in Queenstown and drop-off in Christchurch. Reverse-direction rentals and other pickup or drop-off locations are not eligible.
3. The booking date, pickup date and original scheduled return date must all be on or before 25 September 2026.
4. The maximum eligible rental duration is 7 days. Original bookings exceeding 7 days are not eligible for this promotion.
5. The promotion applies only to eligible Medium, SUV, MPV and Van vehicle categories/groups listed on the A Rentals website booking system during the promotional period, subject to vehicle availability.
6. Eligible bookings will receive:
50% off the base Vehicle Hire Rate; and
the Queenstown to Christchurch One-Way Fee waived in full.
7. The 50% discount applies to the base Vehicle Hire Rate only and does not apply to other charges or optional services, including but not limited to Cover or Excess Reduction products, additional drivers, child seats or rental equipment, Young Driver Fees, after-hours fees, fuel charges, tolls, fines, Roadside Assistance-related charges, damage, accident, towing or claims-related charges, or any other charges outside the base Vehicle Hire Rate.
8. The waived One-Way Fee applies only to eligible rentals travelling from Queenstown to Christchurch. All other applicable charges remain payable in accordance with A Rentals’ standard terms.
9. This promotion cannot be combined with any other Campaign Code, discount, promotional offer or special rate unless otherwise confirmed by A Rentals in writing.
10. If a booking is amended, including changes to the pickup location, drop-off location, dates, rental duration or vehicle category, the amended booking must continue to meet all promotional eligibility requirements. Otherwise, A Rentals may reprice the affected booking at the applicable standard rate.
11. Any rental extension is excluded from this promotion. Any additional rental days approved by A Rentals will be charged at the applicable standard rate at the time of extension and will be subject to vehicle availability.
12. If the original booking exceeds 7 days or has an original scheduled return date after 25 September 2026, the original booking will not qualify for the promotion.
13. All promotional bookings are subject to vehicle availability. A Rentals does not guarantee that every eligible vehicle category will be available for every requested date.
14. All bookings remain subject to A Rentals’ standard Rental Terms and Conditions, cancellation policy, driver eligibility requirements, security deposit requirements and other applicable conditions.
15. A Rentals reserves the right to correct obvious system, pricing or technical errors where reasonably necessary. If an existing confirmed booking is affected, A Rentals will contact the customer as soon as practicable.
